Digital Imaging Presses

Heidelberg, HP Indigo, Xerox, Cannon, OKI and more

Digital Presses or image transfer systems are different from traditional offset presses in that they image direct from digital artwork files direct to a variety of substrates.

Digital Presses do not use traditional inks, imaging usually via a toner or dye sublimation processes. The need for any pre-press processing of plates etc is removed completely making production faster cleaner and more ideally suited to quick turnaround, shorter run print lenghts. Digital Presses are available in a wide range of sizes from desktop A3 & A4 to large format B2 systems and able to handle products from stationery to posters, canvas wall art and more.

Wide Format Printers

HP, Xerox, Canon, Epson, Oce and more

Wide format printers are computer controlled printing machines able to produce products such as banners, posters, trade show graphics, vehicle wrapping vinyls, wallpaper, fabrics, murals etc. Wide format printers usually use inkjet or toner systems to produce a large format printed image

.

Usually more economical and capable of vastly superior results than other print methods such as silk screen printing for short-run, large format products, these printers are commonly used for the proofing of large packaging items, poster & banner printing etc. Large format printers are available in versions which print “on the roll” for paper, vinyl and fabric products or in “flatbed” models which can print onto a vast array of “semi-hard” or “hard” substrates from plastics to mdf board, sheet metals and more. Flat bed printers also allow printing onto products with depths up to around 400mm, which make them hugely flexible for all sorts of products.

Digital Cutting Tables

Esko Kongsberg, Dyss, Zund, Roland and more

Whether for display items, commercial print or large format print, many print professionals now find that aquiring a digital cutting table to finish jobs in-house is a must.

Cutting tables are enormously versatile can handle most print substrates from papers to cardboards, display and sign making materials such vinyl through to foamcore and even tougher and thicker substrates like mdf, acrylics, laminates and timber boards.

Such versatility allows print professionals to perform complex finishing tasks completely in house, handling unique operations such as cutting, scoring, routing and more. There are size options available able to handle all sorts of products from corrugated packaging to sign & display materials and short run finishing for creative print products.

Laser Cutting Machines

Lazer cutting machines allow printers, sign and display professionals & others to apply complex cutting and finishing operations to a huge array of printed substrates. While laser machines are usually used for shorter run, smaller format products, the development of larger and faster machines means that laser technology is increasingly being applied to large format products such as fabric cutting, sign products and creative short run display items.
